The Forsyth Humane Society

Given the general state of the economy and the fact that neither Art Unleashed! nor the Furr Ball (our two major fund raisers) are scheduled for this year, we're looking at a significant shortfall in income. We've taken steps to reduce our operating expenses, and are looking at other ways to cut wherever we can. But it's difficult to do, especially without affecting the care and support we're able to provide for the cats and dogs (and people who love them) in our community.
So once again, we're turning to you. We know you can do it. You've done it throughout the years, and the recent outpouring for Mercy (click here to read her story) proves that even in tough times, good people step up.

We're asking you to donate whatever you can, but with a twist—through monthly recurring donations. Having a steady stream of regular donations would ease our burden so much. Just $20 a month from 500 people would be a great start to providing some much needed relief. That's only $5 a week. Of course, if you can give more, that would be really great. If you'd prefer to donate quarterly, yearly, or just make a one-time contribution, we're set up for those options too...and we'll appreciate it every bit as much.

Be the first on your block to help us kick off our "Gimme Five" campaign and click here to donate now.
For the kids out there—we need help naming the dog and cat that are our spokescritters for this new campaign. We're still figuring out all of the details and the prizes for a contest, so stay tuned for details!
